Dispatch Supervisor in Franklin Park, IL.

Ensur efficnt transp of shipmts thru our vehcl fleet & loc agt netwk to comply w/ the co & cust qmts, maintng safety qlty stds.

Plan, sched, coord & implmt methds for most effct & econmcl routg of cust's frght.

Confer dly w/ Dock/Oprtns Supv to ensur propr loadg of city peddl units.

Supv & coord disptchrs, drvrs, & empl's enggd in the deliv & pk/up oprtns actvts necsry to achiv max perf.

Prep & asgn dly scheds for drivrs, for frght pk/up, & ngtiate/coord pk/up times w/ cust.

Acct for all inbd & outbd shipmt stat acurcy & asst in timely updt of delivrd & undelvrd frght rprt.

Mntn acurat & timely comm & resp to all parties to nsur clt needs are met.

Act as liaison btw the carrier & emrgcy serv.

Prep acurat rprts incldg stat data for mgmt.

Asst in traing, dvlpmt & work perf eval of disptchrs, drvrs & othr transp oprtns prsonl.

Resp for recrt of subord empl's.

Reqrd Gen Assoc Deg (no major) or forgn equiv, 6mos exp as Dispatcher in the fld of Logistics, Shipg, or Carrier Frght Servs.

Must hve utlzd foll skills/techs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook; DAT Power, Truckstop, McLeod; Strong comm, & intrpersnl skills; Xcelnt orgz'l & coordtn abilts, attn to detls; Prob-solvg skills under time constrnts.
